Trish is a Farmer.
As an independent advisor, she brings a grass-roots producer perspective. She lives and breathes agriculture, and enjoys networking with entrepreneurs in all facets of the industry.
After growing up in central Alberta as an active participant in the family farm, Trish studied Agriculture Business Management at the University of Alberta and had a ten year career at Farm Credit Canada. She and her husband started their own cow-calf operation over a decade ago, and continue to grow their farming enterprise. Trish has consulted to primary producers, crown corporations, producer groups, and livestock software companies; and currently serves on the board of directors for UFA and the Alberta Agricultural Products Marketing Council.
She is here to bring new technologies to agriculture—ones that enable sustainable food production and protect the natural environment. Ag tech will enable her children to become the 6th generation to farm the land homesteaded by her family in 1905!
