She thrives at connecting the dots, be it facilitating new collaborations, providing pathways to new resourcing or just brainstorming that next big idea.
Before joining Tall Grass, Marlise had over 10 years of business development experience with a strong penchant for supporting organizational growth, strategic partnership development and investment attraction. Her experience had led her to work at the intersection of academia, government and industry in previous roles within agrifood tech venture capital, economic development and tourism.
Coming from rural roots in Manitoba, she is now an impassioned advocate for bridging the urban/rural divide and talking to anyone who will listen about the future of food. Supporting agrifood tech companies with a team driven by the values of diversity, transparency, and collaboration was a no brainer.
