With a wealth of knowledge and experience in the early stage innovation and rapid growth stages of new ventures, Chris is well positioned to support leaders and teams build better businesses. 

He possesses a depth of experience in agriculture not only as a farmer, but as an independent ag retailer, an entrepreneur, a technical agronomist, an executive, a journalist and an investor.  Chris has been involved with companies large and small in the agribusiness sector across North America for 25 years, and for the past ten years has been directly involved with the development of new business applications and value streams around the digitization of farming, agribusiness, and agrifood.

He believes that the agrifood tech industry is about to experience its best years.  With clear opportunities for emerging technologies to solve global challenges related to labor scarcity, food security, logistics dysfunction, and emission reduction goals, agriculture’s fanfare is growing, not only as a source for culinary delight but as the foundation for health and sustainability.
